B.A. in Art
Sculpt! MoMA Design Store, NYC
Having fun joining together pieces of fabric and other stuff, much of which might otherwise have been regarded and discarded as trash, is what I do. And I love it because each element or piece has its own history, feel, energy, color, weight and texture, so joining them together makes something so totally unexpected and exhilarating. Seeing how one piece of experience attaches to the next to create beauty is what life is about, too.
If I have an addiction, it is color. And my work reflects my love of color. It also reflects my background in architecture and the fact that I have made things from fabric or wood or metal for as long as I can remember.
